Why I wish I had 1364 subscribers.

So then I could say that I have more subscribers than the Australian Liberal Party.

The Comengerg Site: Coming soon.

Unfortunately my Super Bus Computer is still infected. It's now been 2 weeks since it has been infected and I'm so bored. I so want it to be all fixed so I can play Halo, Sim City 4 and Train Simulator again and make videos. But in a way the virus has been a good thing for A Bus Studios. Because I have nothing better to do I've decided to continue work on The Comengerg Site.

Last week I've opened up the site to the other Comengerg members who are adding in the info for their cities into the site. The site looks great and is just about complete. In bad news though, my exams start in a month's time and I have to start studying for them which means I won't have much time to work on the site and any other project. Next week I have three assessment tasks due so I have to work on them as well. Very annoying. As a result it may be until December that the site is released.

INFECTED!!! Infection identified.

It's now been 1 week since my Super Bus Computer has been infected and so far all we've done is back up certain files and heaps of virus scans with no avail. Just now though I managed to identify the virus: Rootkit.win32.ZAccess.e

This is apparently a very nasty virus used by hackers and can redirect internet searches, block programs, slow computer performance and bring up unexpected pop ups. My computer has had all these symptoms. Now that the virus has been identified, now we can get somewhere and try to remove it completely.

INFECTED!!!

INFECTED!!! Sounds like a title for an upcomping movie. Unfortunately it isn't. This entire blog post has to do with my Super Bus Computer (my desktop computer). Unfortunately the Super Bus Computer has been infected by a virus. It's one of those virus' that redirects your search results in google and sends you to random advertising sites. That alone doesn't sound bad but it's also playing havoc with some of my other programs. It's disabled some of my security software (and oddly Sim City 4 which I only got working again 2 weeks ago. Stupid virus). Anyway because of this I've started backing up some of my important files onto an external hard-drive and my netbook (which hasn't been infected). The only video material that is being backed up is train videos and MSTS Melbourne Chronicles stuff. I don't have enough time or space to back up anything else. As a result I cannot make any videos right now.

Even if I had no virus, I wouldn't be making much videos anyway. I'm now in Term 4 and my end of year exam's are coming up soon and I have to start studying for them. I still however got some train videos to upload on ThebusofdoomFSX so I'll do that as soon as possible.

Preview of my next film.

Here is some photos of some filming I did just now for my latest movie which will be released in 2 weeks time.

If you are wondering, in the last 2 shots the plane is being held up by fishing string. No smacy effects here. These images only show a small part of what the movie will be like. As you can see in the first photo the script for the movie is only one and a half pages long so the movie won't be that long but you's won't be dissapointed :)

Updates

I was going to update this earlier but stupid Blogger was broken.

Anyway I recieved my new camcorder a while ago and it's absolutely brilliant. Over the past week I've taken it train filming. Yesterday I went to Newport to film a steam train and a week ago I went to Laverton and Aircraft station's to film some trains there.

This coming Saturday though I won't do any trainfilming as I must get cracking on my film for the talent show. I will be experimenting with new filming techniques so hopefully it will turn out good. After that though I probably won't do any animating for a while as I really want to focus on trainfilming and working on the MSTS Melbourne Chronicles.

Dear iPod.

No!!! I do not need to be reminded that I have 20% of battery life remaining as I can obviously see in the top right hand corner of the screen that I have less than 20% left as the battery indicator is red. I don't need a big notification to tell me the obvious. Do you think i'm blind Mr iPod, that I cannot see the battery life indicator?

Just a random rant. Hopefully this will be fixed in iOS 5 whenether it comes out.
